Anti-Static Foam
Anti-static foam is a foam product designed to dissipate and keep electrostatic discharge (ESD) at bay. Combining their anti-static behavior with the cushioning, vibration dampening and shock resistant behavior of all foam, anti-static foam products are perfect for the storing and transporting of electronics. They also assist in wrapping, bracing and blocking.
Design of Anti-Static Foam
Some of the most common materials from manufacturers that make anti-static foam include: high density polyethylene (HDPE), low density polyurethane and high density polyurethane. Anti-static HDPE foam is closed cell, rigid and dense. It works well as an insert liner.
