SP Industries, Inc.

SP Industries has been building waste handling and compaction equipment in Michigan for more than 50 years. We manufacture industrial and commercial compactors, self-contained compactors, pre-crushers, transfer station equipment and specialized systems for difficult waste and recycling applications.

Our goal is pretty simple: understand what the customer is trying to accomplish and build the right equipment for the job.

• •  Reduce hauling costs by getting more material into each load
• •  Improve efficiency and keep waste-handling operations moving
• •  Handle demanding dry and wet waste applications
• •  Build equipment around the customer's actual operating requirements
• •  Provide knowledgeable support before and after the sale

SP equipment is used for applications ranging from wood and pallets, food and wet waste to scrap metal, metal chips and turnings, fluid recovery, apartments, hotels and other commercial and industrial facilities.

We put a lot of emphasis on how our equipment is built. We use domestically sourced structural steel for equipment foundations and high-quality, name-brand components. Each machine is tested and inspected for function, build quality, fit and finish before it leaves our plant. Some SP machines built decades ago are still operating today.

We are also easy to reach. When a customer calls SP Industries, a real person answers the phone. Our engineering and support people work directly with customers to help select, design and implement a system that makes sense for the application.

If you are trying to reduce hauling costs, improve reliability or solve a difficult waste-handling problem, talk with us about the application. We would rather understand the problem first and then recommend the equipment.
