Founded in 1977 as an Oxford University spin‑out, the company has spent nearly five decades developing cutting‑edge laser techniques for industrial and research applications.

Oxford Lasers designs and manufactures integrated laser systems for micromachining, drilling, cutting, milling, scribing, thin‑film removal, surface texturing, and more. Our job shop utilizes our own laser systems in the processing of ultra-high precision components. Our Imaging group provides high‑speed imaging and illumination systems to support particle and droplet sizing, spray quality analysis, and bright-event high-speed imaging such as energetic and welding events.
