Novatec Braids, Ltd.

In 1992 Novatec Braids established its rope manufacturing business at the head of the harbor in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The site offered many advantages: proximity to the North Atlantic fishing industry, the region’s long tradition of high quality textile manufacturing, the skilled local workforce and available space for continued expansion.

As an ISO 9001-certified company, our specialty is custom-engineered braided ropes and products for the commercial fishing industry. Don't worry, we offer other types including Kevlar® rope. NOVABRAID™ is our brand. We even have our own tensile testing lab. Call us today for more information or visit our website!
